Another McQueen and another set of difficulties in finding out information. We know of William McQueen's existence through his daughter Margaret McQueen (4)'s Death certificate. We learned from that that William was married to a Jessie Martin, who was also known as Jean or Jeanie. However, the only record thus far found relating directly to William is a marriage to a Jean Martin. There is a little bit of doubt as to whether this is the correct wedding, but I'm fairly certain it's the right one. For one thing, in this record, William is a joiner, which is also how he is described on his wife's and his daughter's death certificates. Also, although a bit tenuous, William's marriage took place in Barony, Glasgow, which is the same area his daughter Margaret lived in (with her Mother I think) when she gave birth to her own daughter Margaret. So for now I am working on the assumption that this is the correct certificate.

I have hunted high and low for other records, but just no luck.
