I first knew of this John Richmond through the Birth record of his son, John Richmond (6) and thence from the birth records of others of his children. He is also referred to in his wife, Isabella Fraser's Death record. Lastly, I've found the record of his marriage with Isbell Frazer, but that's it. I just can't find any more direct records for John.

John's wife, Isabella's burial was recorded against this date. Some of the writing is difficult to decipher, but I can say that she was married to John Richmond, a miner and lived at 3 Catherine Street. There is another element to her address, but I can't make it out. The record was made in South Leith however. She died from "Decay of Nature".
