I know of Isobel Henderson through the birth record of her son, William Murray. This also records that William Murray's father was Andrew Murray I have also been able to find the birth records of three other children to Andrew and Isobel. Unfortunately, though, as with Andrew, I have searched for both births and deaths without any luck. However, I did find her living with her son William, at the time of the 1841 Census, At that time she was aged 81 and so, must have been born 1759 or 1760. Interestingly, in the 1841 Census she is named as Isabel Henderson, not Murray. As I was unable to find a marriage record for Isobel and Andrew, might this indicate that they never married? I was unable to find Isobel in the 1851 Census, so I assume she had died by then?
